Good communication is a very important part of providing a good experience for your guests. We recommend contacting them before, during and after their stay. Here are some general guidelines:
- After the guest has booked your property, send them a welcoming confirmation message. Let them know you’ll be getting touch with them again shortly before their arrival.
- Before guests check in, send them a pre-arrival message with helpful information including clear, detailed check-in instructions and directions to your place. It’s also a good idea to include any special instructions (such as where the key is hidden) and ask them if they have any special requests. Having an easy, comfortable check-in experience helps guests get their stay off to a good start.
- After guests have checked out, send guests a message thanking them for staying. This is a good time to ask them to write a review if they’ve had a positive experience.
