What's going to change with new pricing feature?
Previously, you had two options for setting price: price per night for 1 or 2 guests, and full occupancy prices. With this new price setting, you can now set a base price and a charge for each extra guest.
The new set prices will apply for all dates -- unless you then set a different rate through the Calendar for specific dates like holidays, or for high/low season.
EXAMPLE: Previously, if your place could accommodate a maximum of 5 people, you could only set a price for 1-2 people per night and another price for 3-5 people per night. In the example below, these prices are 6000 THB per night for 1-2 people and 10000 THB per night for 3-5 people.
With the new pricing setting, you can set 6000 THB per night for 1-2 people and then 1000 THB per night for each extra person – which means 3 people will be charged 7000 THB per night, 4 people will be charged 8000 THB per night, and 5 people for 9000 THB per night.
Will the extra guest fee apply to all prices across my Calendar?
Yes but please note that your extra guest fee is fixed and will not change even if you set a different base prices for specific dates on calendar. So if you set a higher base price for New Year’s Eve, the extra charge per guest will remain the same.
If you want to change the prices for the extra guest, you will need to do so in the “Pricing & Availability” section. This is where you set a base price and a price for each extra guest.
Will all my set prices be affected once I make these changes?
Yes. All current prices will be reset by the new pricing tool.
Once you finish and click “SAVE,” you will see this alert pop up to inform you that the changes will be applied to all days.
- Click 'OK, GOT IT' to launch the new prices on your listing
- Click 'GO TO CALENDAR' to set different base prices for specific dates like holidays.
What if I don’t want to set prices for every occupancy?
If you don’t want to set pricing for different occupancies, then you don’t have to do anything. Your existing set prices will remain.
