Flexible cancellation policies are a top priority for travelers when choosing where to stay. By listing your property, it will automatically offer Agoda EasyCancel—a highly attractive and flexible policy. Guests can cancel for free up to 1 day before check-in, with no refunds for later cancellations. You can update this policy anytime on the Agoda extranet.
Cancellation policies and refund options
EasyCancel
- Full refund: Cancellations more than 1 day before check-in
- No refund: Cancellations within 1 day before check-in or no-shows
Moderate
- Full refund: Cancellations more than 5 days before check-in
- No refund: Cancellations within 5 days before check-in or no-shows
Fair
- Full refund: Cancellations more than 7 days before check-in
- Partial refund: 50% refund for cancellations within 7 days before check-in
- No refund: No-shows
Firm
- Full refund: Cancellations more than 30 days before check-in
- Partial refund: 50% refund for cancellations 8 to 30 days before check-in
- No refund: Cancellations within 7 days before check-in or no-shows
Non-refundable
- No refund for cancellations and bookings cannot be amended
Setting your cancellation policy
Desktop
- Sign in to your account. If you manage multiple properties, select it from Listings.
- Navigate to More >> Property >> Cancellation policy.
- Choose your cancellation policy.
- Click Save.
Agoda app
- Open the Agoda app, switch to host mode, and navigate to your listing.
- Navigate to More >> Rates and availability >> Cancellation policy.
- Choose your cancellation policy.
- Click Save.
Determining the cancellation policy for a booking
When multiple cancellation policies are active for your property, the following logic is used to decide which policy applies:
- EasyCancel: If EasyCancel is active, it will always take priority.
- Essential promotions: If EasyCancel is not offered, the strictest policy from applicable Essential promotions will apply.
- Targeted promotions: If neither EasyCancel nor Essential promotions are applicable, the strictest policy from applicable Targeted promotions will apply.
- Property policy: If none of the above conditions apply, your property’s default cancellation policy will be used.
